Jug Bay Sport Fishing sits along the shores of Lake Athabasca and right on the borders of Alberta and Saskatchewan. This is a fly-in fishing lodge and the easiest way to get here is from Fort McMurray with McMurray Aviation. It takes just a 1.5 hour flight from Fort McMurray to reach the Jug Bay Sport Fishing. The lodge offers plenty of comforts and opportunities to fish for BIG fish such as Record Setting Lake Trout and Trophy Northern Pike. The Lodge is rustic and the accommodations are comfortable with bunk beds and wood stove heat, hot showers. There are outdoor facilities and outhouses. Meals are home cooked and served in the main lodge where you can also find a game room.

The Minor Bay Lodge is about 335 km from Missinipe and sits on the southwestern side of the Wollaston Lake. The lodge is a beautiful log structure with a full dining area, lounge, and a screened verandah that offers stunning views of the lake. There are seven guest cabins here that range from two-person to eight-person in size. All offer modern conveniences such as full living room, bedrooms, full bathrooms, electric heat, comfortable double beds, and more. The Wollaston Lake sits 550 km Northeast of Prince Albert and about 110 miles south of the border with the North West Territories. This is a huge lake that stretches 110 miles in length and 45 miles in width, making it one of the largest lakes in all of North America. This is a dynamic lake with depths to 400 feet and an inflow of water from two major rivers. The lodge itself is large and offers access to trophy Northern Pike, big Lake Trout, Walleye, and Arctic Grayling. Guests primarily come here for the big Northern Pike and the huge population of big, fat Lake Trout. The Walleye and Grayling fishing are not bad either. Expect five-star luxury in addition to outstanding fishing.

Slim's Cabins offers drive-in, boat-in, or fly-in options for its guests. Slim's Cabins sits along the banks of the beautiful Churchill River in Saskatchewan. Guests enjoy nearly 40-miles of prime-river for fishing. Expect Trophy Walleye and Northern Pike. Getting to Slim's Cabins is fairly easy. Guests can fly into Flin Flom and the lodge can pick you up or you can rent a car for the last 110 miles of the trip. Fly yourself there and land in Sandy Bay (Hard runway), or Drive. It is about an 11 hour drive, but if you build some time into your trip there are a ton of lakes along the way.
