The Air Ivanhoe Canadian Wilderness Adventures features outstanding fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Lake Trout, and Smallmouth Bass. The main lodge is just an hour from Chapleau, Ontario, which is just over nine hours from Toronto. From the main lodge guests have access to remote outposts where the fishing is pristine.

Lodging with Air Ivanhoe Canadian Wilderness Adventures

The cabins at the drive in lodge are 480 square feet and offer vaulted ceilings, four-piece bathrooms, and an open floor plan with kitchen and living room. Each cabin has two suites and sleeps up to eight people. There are also VIP suites that range to 1,200 square feet and can handle parties of 12. The housing options at the drive in lodge are impressive. From the Juniper Cottages to the Bay Cottages there is plenty of room for you and your party.

The outpost cabins feature limited solar power with a light-housekeeping setup. Expect a propane fridge, stove, gas BBQ, and for heat, a wood burning stove. The lodge equips the cabins with cooking and dining utensils. Also included are pillows, cases, and a bottom sheet for the mattress.

Overall, expect clean, stylish, and well cared for units with plenty of comforts and areas for lounging and relaxing.

Fishing with the Air Ivanhoe Canadian Wilderness Adventures

With an abundance of lakes and outpost cabins guests can target waters that are full of Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Lake Trout, and Smallmouth Bass. What you should expect here is the opportunity for big fish, especially Northern Pike, and if you are patient, Muskie. The trick, to make the most out of your fishing adventure here, is to work with the lodge about which species of fish you want to target. These guys know how to direct you to the best lake to make your fishing adventure a memorable one. 48 inch Northern Pike are not uncommon and that is a lot of fishing adventure to battle. When we say they provide service to a lot of lakes, we mean it. They have 24-fly-in lakes and three boat in lakes from which guests can stay. Each lake is different, but they share some of the same features. Most are remote, not heavily fished, and have a beautifully equipped cabin.
