Staying here means you will be 380 miles Northwest of Winnipeg which is also along the Manitoba and Saskatchewan border. This is a drive-in fishing lodge with the option for fly-in adventures too.
The Bakers Narrows Lodge Adventure
Anglers enjoy a wide selection of fish from which to target. The Walleye and Northern Pike fishing are why many people come to this part of Manitoba. However, the lake also has access to good Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and Lake Trout fishing.
Guests stay in one of the 15 modern guest log cabins. Each cabin is different but the typical layout is with four single beds and two double beds. Families can book a cabin with four bunk beds and one double bed. Expect a long list of amenities such as Satellite TV, High-Speed Internet in most cabins, a full kitchenette, mini fridge, covered porch, and good bedding such as Posturepedic mattresses and a three piece bathroom.
Guests fish from Deep V Wide Beam boats with flat floors and equipped with padded swivel bass boat seats, depth finders, rod holders, and life jackets. Guests are also given a map of the lake and each boat comes with a full tank of gas. Guides are available and can make the difference when it comes to targeting Big Trophy Fish.
The lodge promotes catch-and-release however, guests are permitted to take fish if the fish is within a certain size limit.
Fly-in and fly-out services for guests to add to their trip. Some of the fly-out lakes are rarely fished and that means guests have access to pristine waters, big fish, and wild fish.
Overall, expect a well-run lodge that is clean, well-equipped and full of fishing action.
