Barrington Lake Camp

The Barrington Lake Camp is a Fly-in fishing camp along the shores of Savant Lake in NW Ontario. There are no roads to the camp and that means that the local waters have little fishing pressure across their 10,000 acres of pristine fishing grounds. For anglers, that means big, wild fish such as Walleye and Northern Pike. If you don't like to fly, the lodge has its very own rail stop so you can train-in and enjoy fishing. The lodge sits just 61.5 miles West of Allanwater Bridge stop via the train.

Fishing with Barrington Lake Camp

The camp is available all year long. They offer sports fishing, ice fishing, and hunting services within this unspoiled and pristine setting. The lake is part of the Wabakimi Provincial Park and stretches some ten miles in length. The camp is the only structure on the lake making it a haven for Trophy Northern Pike and Walleye fishing. In addition to Barrington Lake, there are eight Portage lakes with boats, motor, and gas.

Lodging with the Barrington Lake Camp

The camp offers housekeeping cabins complete with bedding and linens. Guests are expected to bring their own bath towel and face cloths. Each cabin holds up to eight guests and is complete with wood burning stove, bathroom with hot showers. There is a well-equipped kitchen in each cabin with everything needed to prepare meals, including fridge, freezers, and propane stove with oven. Electricity is produced by an on-demand generator.

The Main lodge has room for 18 guests and offers rooms with fireplace, In the common area of the lodge, which is available to all guests, there is satellite TV and a pool table. Individual rooms have their own bathroom, The lodge offers sectioned off spaces for groups so that each group has its own kitchen, fridge, and freezer.

Overall, expect a rustic experience in cabins that are accommodating, clean and comfortable.
