Black Bear Island Lodge

The cabins are modern and arranged in duplex style. Each holds four guests and is full of comfort including comfortable beds.

The main lodge is where most of the socializing occurs. There is a comfortable den with TV and restricted internet access. The dining room is here and breakfast starts at 7 am with the goal to get the fishermen on the water by 8 am.

Expect plenty of goodness with comfortable places to rest when you are not fishing.

This is a place that is home to Trophy Northern Pike and Trophy Walleye. This is a catch and release lodge and thanks to their conservation efforts, the local waters are full of Trophy fish.

All fishing is fully guided and at any lodge the guides make all of the difference. When you want to top out the Trophy end of the scale, a guide can help. They know where the fish are and where the honey holes are for targeting big fish.

Note: When you fish more than three days you will need to purchase an Annual Fishing License.

Guests enjoy shore lunch while fishing and breakfast and dinner at the lodge.

In addition to fishing the lodge offers guided hunting for bear. At certain times of the year you can combine fishing and hunting and spend part of the day fishing and the rest of the day hunting. Both are fully guided and provide guests with a truly beautiful opportunity to experience the best that Canada has to offer.
