  • Access: Drive In Camp Fly In Camp

The Camp Anjigami sits along the shores of Anjigami Lake, which stretches for about seven miles and offers outstanding fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, and Speckled Trout. The lodge is about 30-miles Southeast of Wawa and about a six-hour drive from Thunder Bay or 10.5 hours from Toronto.

Lodging at Camp Anjigami

There are two drive-in cabins and four fly-in cabins available.

Paradise Cabin offers two bedrooms and modern living facilities that sleep up to seven guests. The cabin offers a three piece bathroom two queen-sized beds and a bunk bed. The kitchen features propane stove, with oven, refrigerator, a large living room, gas heat, outer deck and a front porch with sitting area. Outdoors is a BBQ and deep fryer. The Moose Head Lodge is similarly equipped and offers a three-bedroom floor plan.

For fly-in expect clean and comfortable accommodations with a remote feel and you are often the only people on the lake. The fly-in cabins offer access to portage lakes, as well as a prime fishing destination near the cabin.

The main lodge area offers a ton of activities from golfing to canoeing. There are pool tables, yard games, and wildlife viewing plus a lot of opportunities for swimming.

Fishing with Camp Anjigami

Many people come to fish for the large Walleye and what they discover are even bigger Northern Pike. The Lake Trout fishing here is outstanding too. The lakes are also fed by many streams which make outstanding places to fish for Speckled Trout. The Fly-in Lakes offer pristine fishing conditions on waters that few people fish. This means better opportunities for battling trophy fish. The lakes also offer different types of habitats so fishermen can virtually choose a lake that fits their fishing style. Many of the fly-out lakes and cabins offer portage lake access or are connected to other lakes via the waterways. Many people target Walleye by trolling, but you can also find them by using a fly rod along the warmer and shallower sections of the lakes. For Northern Pike, head to the shore area where you find weedy beds. The Lake Trout are usually in the deeper parts of the lake.

What you should expect is outstanding fishing in a remote and beautiful section of Ontario. Expect clean and comfortable cabins, friendly hosts, and plenty of activities. The lodge is pet friendly, and easy to find.
