  • Access: Drive In Camp

The Caribou Lodge Outfitters sits in remote Manitoba, but offers drive-in lodging. Located just 27 miles from Flin Flon, getting here is easy. If you prefer to fly, fly directly to the Flin Flon Airport and the lodge will pick you up there. You can also drive, on paved roads, right to the lodge. This is the place for fishing and hunting, though they have room for upwards of 50 guests and include camping as a venue.

Lodging here is either by tent, cabin or motel. As such, the lodge accommodates your style of vacation and offers personalized services that help every guest have the vacation of their lives.

Fishing here is good. The local waters offer big Walleye, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout as their main fish with a healthy population of Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout too.

Fishing with the Caribou Lodge Outfitters

Guests who come to the Caribou Lodge Outfitters have access to five prime lakes. Those include Cranberry Lake, Second Cranberry Lake, Cranberry Lake, Elbow Lake, and Simmonhouse Lake.

Cranberry Lake is a short, shallow lake, 4.5 miles long and 30 feet deep at its deepest. This is a great spot for Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, and Burbot. Burbot are freshwater cod. You may also find Lake Trout here and Perch.

Second Cranberry Lake is larger and stretches for 7 miles in length, two miles wide, and 150 feet at its deepest. This is a great place for big Lake Trout. Along the shores and reefs, you will also find Northern Pike and Walleye. In the opens, you can find Whitefish, Perch, and Burbot.

Third Cranberry Lake is smaller with five-mile length, 1.5-mile width, and a depth of 40 feet. This is a powerhouse lake for Walleye and Northern Pike with healthy populations of Whitefish, Burbot, and Perch.

Elbow Lake is large and offers Walleye, Northern Pike, Whitefish, Burbot, and Perch. This is a 25-minute boat ride from the lodge.

Simmonhouse Lake is also a 25-minute boat ride from the lodge and is the largest of the lakes. This is a haven for Walleye and Northern Pike with big populations of Burbot, Perch, and Whitefish.
