Cedar Point Lodge sits on an outcrop of rock on the shores of Eagle Lake. As one of the larger lakes that Northwestern Ontario offers, Eagle Lake has 68,464 acres of prime fishing grounds. If you are traveling from International Falls, the journey to the lodge is only about 100 miles.

The lodge itself is beautiful and offers a dining room, game room, and comfortable lounging area. There are TV and Wi-Fi available. Guests are lodged in one of the many cabins or one of the condos. Some units have a Jacuzzi Tub, and others have just a regular tub. There is plenty of room here for parties of all sizes.

Fishing with Cedar Point Lodge

Eagle Lake offers 406 miles of shorelines. It is a jagged lake that spills out as it forms hidden covers, calm bays, islands, and deep-water troughs. Here you will find Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. There is another little treat here for those of you who love to fish for Bass. The underwater structures are home to Rock Bass.

Eagle Lake is known as two lakes in one. It gets that reputation because it offers fishermen both quantity and quality. You can fish all day long reeling in Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, and more. You can also target just the trophy fish, and there are lots of them. The lake is under conservation so, the fishing is based on slot-fishing that helps to keep the trophy sized fish in abundance.

For example, you can only keep a Muskie if it is over 54 inches. The lake has them over 54 inches. If you like other large and feisty fish, then target Northern Pike. These long, lean predators are second only in size to the Muskie. Guests fish aboard 17.5 foot Lund Outfitter Boats with 40 and 50 HP engines. There is a bait shop, a fish processing room, and they process all of your fish free of charge. Cedar Point Lodge offers guests outstanding fishing and a comfortable place to call home.
