The Deep Creek Lodge sits along the Skeena River near Terrace British Columbia where they offer outstanding fishing for Steelhead, Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon fishing to guests from around the world.

Fishing with Deep Creek Lodge

Guests have access to Steelhead and all five species of Pacific Salmon. There's also a variety of Trout including Rainbows, Cutthroats, and Dolly Varden Char. The Skeena River area offers plenty of Coldwater and clear tributaries which include the Skeena River, the Copper River, the Kalum River, and the Kitimat River; All of which are excellent habitat in which to fish for big trophy Rrout and Salmon.

Guests also have access to the saltwater fishing which is just a short drive along the North Pacific Coast. Here you can fish for Salmon and Halibut which populate the bays and sounds around Prince Rupert and along the Alaskan border. Fishing is guided and as an option guests can fish for Dungeness Crab or just enjoy the beautiful Coastal scenery.

The best time for steelhead fishing is the month of April and then again the first week of August through September and October Fortune examen the best time is mid July to the first week of August coho salmon are best fish from the first week of July through the end of August and trout are available from late March to mid-april and again from mid-september through October. Chowder available all season long but those are the hot times for fishing.

Lodging with Deep Creek Lodge

The lodge sits just 15 minutes from the city of Terrance and is easy to get to by flying into the Terrance airport. The lodge holds 8 to 10 people and offers year-round access for Anglers, skiers, and people who want to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Northern British Columbia. The lodge is nurturing and takes care of guests from the moment that they arrived until the moment they depart. Expect rooms that are comfortable and cozy. Each double room with two twin beds or one king size bed. Rooms are fully furnished and have a private bathroom with the shower. The main Lodge offers a lounge for relaxation and meals here are served family style. There's plenty of places for sitting and reading in the comfortable, overstuffed chairs and couches. There is a place to play cards and anglers enjoy the well-stocked tie flying table. Wi-Fi is also available.

  • most evenings the food was over cooked and going cold the portions were less than child size the quality if the food left a lot to be desired, the breakfast was much the same we had cold breakfast...
