Dogskin Lake Lodge & Outposts base in Silver Falls, Manitoba is just 1.5 hours from Winnipeg. As one of Manitoba's premier fly-in fishing destinations, Dogskin Lake Lodge & Outposts offers guests outstanding trophy fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye.

Lodging with Dogskin Lake Lodge & Outposts

The lodge is just a 45-minute flight from the base in Silver Falls and sits on a large island in the midsts of Dogsking Lake. Expect outstanding accommodations, a friendly staff, fine dining, and plenty of comforts. Guests stay in one of the individual cabins. Cabins include private bathrooms, showers, heaters controlled via a thermostat, and for summer comfort, there are fans. Some cabins offer living space with comfortable furniture and all have a three season porch complete with screening. Cabins hold from 2-16 making this a perfect place for families, groups, and fishing friends. Meals are served in the main lodge including fresh coffee in the morning and a robust breakfast. As this is a fly-in lodge, guests are welcome to fly their own plane to the lodge too.

Fishing with Dogskin Lake Lodge & Outposts

Dogskin Lake offers 7000 acres of prime fishing. This is Walleye and Northern Pike territory. The lake offers countless bays and sheltered coves which make the perfect location for finding big Northern Pike. Portage lakes include Hutch Lake, Clayton Lake, Bear Lake, and Rice Lake.

Guests fish from 16-foot Lund boats with 15 HP motors. Boats feature swivel seats with high backs and padded bottoms for the most comfort. Life jackets and anchors are included. Guides are available and guests who fish with a guide fish from the Alaskan Guide boat with a 40 HP motor. The lake is big and the guides know where the best fishing is. With a 40 HP motor, you can hit the hot spots and fish for longer. The lodge provides a shore lunch of fresh Walleye and someone from the lodge will come out to you on the lake, pick up your Walleye, and direct you to a spot where lunch is prepared for you.
