Five Mile Lake Lodge

The main camp features lakeside cabins and the main lodge. There are two outpost cabins on Goldie Lake and Wenebegon Lake. Goldie Lake cabin holds up to six people and offers amazing fishing for Northern Pike in the 32-42 inch range. Also here are 16-20 inch Smallmouth Bass. The best time for Smallmouth Bass fishing on Goldie Lake is late spring and early fall. Also present here are Lake Trout and Whitefish.

Wenebegon Lake is an ATV-in destination that offers trophy Walleye and Trophy Northern Pike fishing. Wenebegon Lake is a ten mile stretch of islands, water, and rugged shore. The cabin sleeps six and offers a rugged kitchen with a four-burner camp stove, BBQ, and lake water to the sinks. It's a perfect place for fishing adventures.

The main lodge area offers two and three bedroom cabins that are fully housekeeping. Expect a full kitchen, full-size refrigerator, a stove with oven, and electricity. The heating here is via propane heaters, and the bathrooms consist of four pieces. Guests should bring towels, toiletries and groceries.

There are plenty of opportunities for back lake fishing. The lakes in the area hold Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Speckled Trout. Each lake offers something different, but they all have good fishing in common.

Five Mile Lake offers 37 miles of shoreline and twists about in a wild style. There are plenty of little bays and sheltered spots where the fishing is outstanding. This is one of the best Walleye fishing places in all of Ontario and there are plenty of opportunities for trophy Northern Pike and 20 pound Lake Trout.

It is a quiet, tranquil place for family adventures and world-class fishing.
