Flotten Lake Resort

Guest of the resort have the option of renting modern cabins or camping. The cabins sit along the shore of Flotten River and feature hot and cold running water, private bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi and Satellite TV, and a well equipped kitchen. Guests who rent cabins enjoy the large deck with ample sitting areas, picnic table and fire pit. Most cabins are three bedroom and hold two double beds and a set of bunk beds. Expect clean and modern cabins with plenty of comfort and all the equipment needed to make yourself at home.

If you choose to camp, the campground is small and there are not many spaces. What is there is well-cared for and there is a central shower house with flush toilets. Camp spots include a fire pit, and picnic table and includes firewood. You can bring your own boat or rent one of the boats at the lodge.

Flotten Lake is a medium sized lake that stretches around 11 km in length and 4 km wide. It has three islands which make a prefect haven for big fish. Fishermen come to the Flotten Lake Resort to fish for big Trophy Northern Pike and Walleye. They offer remote fishing at their outpost camp on Mallard Lake. The Mallard Lake Outpost Camp is a rugged experience but will worth the adventure.

The fishing at Flotten Lake Resort is guided or unguided. The guided trip offers multiple lake fishing including Flotten Lake, Mallard Lake, and Little Lake. Guests fish from fully equipped boats. The guide ratio is one guide per two guests. Overall expect a well run show with plenty of fishing opportunities.
