Hatchet Lake Lodge

Hatchet Lake Lodge sits on an island and features three stories. The main building offers full dining, a lounge, bar, computer room and library. Guests stay in one of the out cabins which are hand built by the Cree people. Cabins feature wood burning stoves, hot showers, and a variety of bed sizes from Kings to Twins.

The food here is plentiful and good. The meals are home style with full breakfasts with choice of bacon, eggs, French toast, and many other wonderful items. Dinner is also a big deal with fresh bread, nicely prepared meats and vegetables and homemade desserts. There is a full bar for before and after dinner and plenty of time to chat about the day's activities.

There are plenty of options for water and fishing habitats. You can opt from big lakes to clear water streams. You can target big Northern Pike, big Lake Trout, and plenty of Walleye in most lakes. Near the inlets and in the rivers you will find plenty of Arctic Grayling. Fly fishermen and spin casters are welcome. The Northern Pike make a great fly fishing target, especially later in the season when the weed beds are thick.
