The High North Outfitting lodge serves the Ungava Bay Region of Nothern Quebec and sits along the shores of Lake Dufreboy. The lodge is fully guided and provides personal service to ensure that your fishing or hunting adventure is successful. The lodge has a very high rate of return and that is due to the fact that they take care of their guests so that every guest who stays with them has a guide who cares about the quality of their stay.

The lodge, as remote as it is, makes getting there absolutely easy. All that you have to do is arrive at the Montreal International Airport One day before your adventure begins. The lodge handles everything else. They will make sure that you have a hotel in Montreal for the night and then they will arrange for you to fly out to the camp the following day. They are very efficient and your traveling to the camp takes several hours.

Fishing with High North Outfitting

The local lakes are full of Trophy Lake Trout, Arctic Char or Brook Trout. Expect Lake Trout in the 40 Pound Range and plenty of both Brook Trout and Arctic Char.

This is a guided fishing camp with a focus on keeping your adventure beautiful. They are very keen on personal service and each guide genuinely cares about your trip. Overall, expect plenty of fishing for big Trophy fish, especially Lake Trout.

The Lodge

The lodge is strategically placed and guests are lodges in one of two cabins. Each cabin holds 4 people. There are two cabins for the guides and kitchen staff. There is hot and cold running water, oil heat, and comfortable beds. This is a place where you are roughing it but the experience is well worth it. The camp cook feeds you well and there is plenty of food. The focus here is on creating a quality fishing or hunting experience for each guest.
