The Jackson's Lodge & Outposts is easy to get to from the Winnipeg International Airport. The connection is in Lac Du Bonnet, which 103 km North and East of Winnipeg and your options are to rent a car or take a taxi. Those with their own aircraft can fly directly to Lac du Bonnet. The Jackson's Lodge & Outposts is a series of destinations. They have outposts on 17 lakes giving guests a lot of options for where to stay and fish. Many of their outposts or lodges are located in provincial parks such as the Atikaki Provincial Park, Nopiming, and Whiteshell provincial parks.

What you should expect is a well-run lodge or camp with plenty of comforts and the focus on making your stay the best it can possibly be. If you are here for the fishing, your stay will be awesome because the fishing in this area is outstanding.

Expect a range of amenities at the cabins from fully modern to those with a rustic charm. All have Propane BBQs and stoves. Some have indoor toilets and others have an outhouse.

There are plenty of fish here from big Northern Pike to Walleye, to Lake Trout. Some of the lakes even offer outstanding Smallmouth Bass fishing.

Some of the best lakes for Northern Pike are Echo Lake, Saddle Lake, and Side Saddle Lake.

Some of the Best lakes for Smallmouth Bass include Echo Lake and Saddle Lake.

For Lake Trout, Forbes Lake is a great place to fish.

For big Walleye, try Side Saddle Lake which is also a great place for big Northern Pike.
