The fishing focus here is on Walleye and Northern Pike. There are catch and size restrictions in place which help to keep the lake's population fo big fish elevated and gives every guest a better opportunity to battle a big Trophy Fish.

For the most part, this is a self-guided fishing lodge, though they do offer guide service and as an add-on service they will clean and freeze your fish for you. If you are new to the area or have never fished for Northern Pike, then a guide is a good bet. Northern Pike are large and aggressive, a lifestyle that has earned them the name - Northern Sharks. It is not uncommon to lose a good sized Walleye to a bigger Northern Pike. These are fish that are designed to detect anything in the lake that is struggling and a fish on a line is certainly that.

Your cabin rental comes with an 18' boat and 50 hp motor.

The Kamkota Lodge offers a series of light housekeeping cabins that are both fully modern and very comfortable. All cabins have 24/7 power, a full kitchen, indoor plumbing with plenty of hot water and a propane BBQ. In addition, there is everything you need here to make a standard meal. The cabins are further equipped with High-Speed Satellite Internet and Satellite TV. Guests are asked to bring their own bedding, including pillows, and bath towel. Cabins have a small deck, outdoor sitting, and a table. Some offered covered porches and others are shaded.

Overall, expect nice cabins that are clean, comfortable and ready for you to enjoy for the duration of your stay.
