Keystone Lodge sits on the shores of Cedar Lake, which is connected to Perrault Lake, and together they make an awesome habitat for fishing. The lodge is located about 30 miles from Vermilion Bay and a little over 3.5 hours from International Falls, Minnesota.

The Lodge offers eleven cabins for guest rentals. These are fully equipped modern cabins with hot and cold running water, three piece bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests sleep on single-wide beds, and the lodge provides all of the linens. Expect a dining area and a living area. Some of the cabins offer screened in porches. Overall, expect clean and well cared for cabins with a lot of comfortable amenities.

Fishing with Keystone Lodge

The lakes offer over 15 miles of water so fishing is never far from the lodge and that works here. The lakes offer ragged shorelines that are made up of bays, inlets, and points. Beneath the water are structures and reefs that create beautiful fishing habitat. The quiet beds are where you will most likely find the Muskie, Walleye, and the Northern Pike. This is Muskie country so come prepared to battle trophy fish.

The lodge will issue you a map and boats come with fish finders. Options for boats include 14' or 16' foot aluminum boats with 25 hp Mercury motors and swivel seats. Fishermen can upgrade their boat by adding a fish finder, trolling motor and other options. Be sure to ask about upgrades when you make your reservation.

There are fly-out day trips available as well as day trips to outpost lakes in the area.

Overall, expect a clean and well-run lodge in an area that is ideal for fishing. They even offer fishing seminars on Saturdays so that guests can become oriented to the lake. This is a place that people return to often.
