Fishing with Kississing Lake Lodge
Fishing here is intense. Guests typically have no problem catching 100 fish per day. However, while quantity is awesome, the quality is what makes this a special destination. There are plenty of trophy fish in these waters. By Trophy fish, we mean the 48-inch Northern Pike. The fishing action here is good so the lake is perfect for fishermen of all skill levels. If you have something special you want to target book a fly-out fishing adventure to one of the remote lakes in the area.
Expect to battle big Pike — 48-inches or larger. This is also a haven for big Walleye. If you are an angler who like to battle big Lake Trout, they have them here.
May and June are big fishing months because they follow the spring spawning and the fish are hungry. It is also a time where the lake begins to warm and the fish move to the shallower portions of the lake which warmer waters and more food. Slowly jig a lure or dry fly over a weed bed and you are likely to attract a big Northern Pike. Sit off the rocky point and play a minnow lure through the depths and you are likely to entice a big Walleye to strike.
The Kississing Lake Lodge offers outstanding fishing adventures for anglers of all ages and all experience levels.
