Perrault Lake is home to many species of trophy fish. The biggest fish here are the Muskie which grow to over 50 inches and each year a few people catch the "big" one. There is a voluntary catch-and-release policy and it helps to keep trophy fish available. Northern Pike is another of the monster fish that guests catch. They range to 40 plus inches, and it is not uncommon to catch one in the 45-inch range. Walleye grow to be insanely large here. Expect Walleye in the 15-20-inch ranges with ample opportunity to battle one that is nearly 30 inches in length. Even the Smallmouth bass grow large here. The summer record was just over 20 inches long. When we say fishing for trophies, we mean fishing for trophy-sized fish. Guests fish from 16' Lund boats that feature swivel seats. Guests can upgrade to an 18' Lund boat. Motor options include 40 and 50 horsepower engines. Guides are available and if you want to target Muskie a guide is a good bet.


Overall it is hard to beat the Manotak Lodge with the amount of trophy fish available. Expect clean, comfortable cabins and plenty of good food to go along with all that awesome fishing.
