Meline's Lodge & Guide Service sits along the shores of Sabaskong Bay on Lake of the Woods. The lodge is located in Nestor Falls and offers six luxury cabins with a main lodge, dining room, and bar. Fishing guests should expect to target Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Crappie, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Muskie.

The cabins are newly renovated and offer full kitchens with microwave, range and full-sized refrigerator. The cabins include air conditioning, decks with BBQs, TV with VCR and DVD players, a four piece bedroom, daily maid service and modern heat. The main lodge also has a dining room for those who do not want to cook every meal in their cabin.

Fishing with Meline's Lodge & Guide Service

Guests of the lodge have a lot of options when it comes to fishing. You can choose to bring your own boat, or rent one of theirs. You can choose to go it alone or take in the wealth of experience that a guide offers. The guides here are more than just a chauffeur, they are top-tier fishermen who want you to have the best time fishing possible. This is a great place for families and new fishermen because the guides are happy to share their experience with you as you learn to fish.

Many anglers come here for the Walleye fishing, and why not, this is prime Walleye territory. Walleye fishing starts on the third third Saturday in May and stretches into Fall. One of the biggest spawning areas is just several hundred feet from the dock. Nester Falls is a prime fishing location just post spawning. For the rest of the time of the year, the Walleye migrate around, and the guides will know where they are. This is also home to the Muskie, and early spring tends to bring the larger of these brutes to the shallows.

Whether you fish just for Walleye, or you go after the Bass, you will not be disappointed in the fishing. Even the larger Northern Pike and Muskie are plentiful.
