Fishing with Misaw lake Lodge

Fishing here is unreal. Guests have access to 16 bodies of water all of which feature big Northern Pike, fat Lake Trout, and plenty of Arctic Grayling. When we say big, we mean big. Expect Northern Pike in the 38 plus inch range with many caught in the 40-46 inch range. Mid-June to mid-July is great for Pike fishing as you can sight-fish the monsters. As the summer progresses the big Pike are found in the cabbage weed beds.

When it comes to Lake Trout, expect fish in the 15-30 pound class the really big ones tip the scale past the 40 pound mark. Early season fishing is the best time for Lake Trout fishing. The fish move close to shore to take advantage of the warmer water and food.

The Grayling are a smart fish with a high dorsal fin and a lot of fun to catch! They range to 20 inches in length and a big one is about three pounds.

Overall, you cannot beat the fishing and overall experience at Misaw Lake Lodge!
