There is a private flight right to the lodge from Winnipeg which includes one fuel stop. Lodging with Misaw Lake Lodge

Misaw Lake Lodge’s main lodge has been renovated and is a beautiful log lodge that offers views of the lake from the island. The main lodge also offers comfortable seating areas, dining and lounge with a pool table and dart board. Three homemade meals are served daily and offer a wide selection of foods. Breakfast is a full-service affair with eggs, potatoes, pancakes and many other items from which you can choose. Shore lunch is prepared by your guide and often features your catch of the day. Nightly appetizers and dinner are served back at the lodge. Guests stay in cabins that offer private bathrooms, propane heaters, and ceiling fans.

Fishing with Misaw lake Lodge

Fishing here is unreal. Guests have access to 16 bodies of water all of which feature big Northern Pike, fat Lake Trout, and plenty of Arctic Grayling. When we say big, we mean big. Expect Northern Pike in the 38 plus inch range with many caught in the 40-46 inch range. Mid-June to mid-July is great for Pike fishing as you can sight-fish the monsters. As the summer progresses the big Pike are found in the cabbage weed beds.

When it comes to Lake Trout, expect fish in the 15-30 pound class the really big ones tip the scale past the 40 pound mark. Early season fishing is the best time for Lake Trout fishing. The fish move close to shore to take advantage of the warmer water and food.

The Grayling are a smart fish with a high dorsal fin and a lot of fun to catch! They range to 20 inches in length and a big one is about three pounds.

Overall, you cannot beat the fishing and overall experience at Misaw Lake Lodge!

  • Best fishing trip ever! Misaw Lake Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. We were asking ourselves before we booked ?Can this Misaw Lake Lodge website be true? We found that the web site represented exactly the experiences we that we would have as guests at Misaw Lake Lodge. I thought they would show just trophy size fish that perhaps a few experienced anglers caught. Turned out remarkably, that catching these size fish represented on the web site is really quite common! My one 43" pike was an all time record on fly-in Lake Bonokoski. Flying into a second lake was so much fun and worth every penny. Most of the Northern Pike were over 32". On the 2nd fly in lake, in this one location, we caught pike on almost every cast for 45 minutes. The guide could not keep up. We said it was like a conveyor belt of northern pike. The Staff is warm, friendly, hospitable, and kind. They treated my wife and I family. Everything was Impeccably clean. Our guide was phenomenal, fish wise. Perhaps, more importantly, we could see he cared about us and our time at Misaw Lake Lodged. Looking forward to returning to Misaw Lake Lodge.
