Ontario North Outpost

The Vaughn Lake Fly-in Outpost Camp is a large bay on Lac Seul. There are a pair of cabins here. One is a three bedroom floor plan and the other is an open floor plan. They feature a screened porch, hot and cold water for cooking and bathing, a big kitchen with two refrigerators, filtered water, and solo electricity. The cabin has room for eight guests. This is an outstanding place for trophy Walleye, big Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Perch.

Lynx Lake Outpost Camp features a Yurt that sleeps eight people. Expect modern facilities, hot and cold running water, solar power, big kitchen and both a refrigerator and freezer. This is a lake where people catch Walleye hand over fist. It is also a great place for Northern Pike, and Big Smallmouth Bass.

Guests fish from 16-food extra wide Lund Boats. For Walleye fishing, the big Trophy fish are found on Vaughan Lake which is a natural spawning area for those big female fish. You can take the channel out to Lac Seul for Muskie fishing too. The waters of Vaughan Lake allow guests to catch 50-100 Walleye every day. This is also a place for big Northern Pike. Expect trophy sized fish all day every day at Vaughan Lake. Walleye are common in the 16-23 inch range with good opportunity to battle a 30 plus inch Walleye.

For big Northern Pike, Lynx Lake is the place to head. Expect Pike in the 8-15 pound range with plenty of opportunities to target big 20-pound pike. A few 45 plus inch Pike are caught each year. Lynx Lake is a catch and release lake.

The Smallmouth Bass fishing is good on Lynx Lake too. There are Perch in both lakes so plenty of game fish for fishing. It is hard to go wrong with Ontario North Outpost as the fishing here is just outstanding.
