The Owl's Nest Lodge is a Northern Ontario family resort that offers year-round activities including Fishing, Hunting, and Snowmobiling. The resort is slightly south of Sudbury and Northwest of Monetville. You can get her by car by driving towards the French River and through the Barrie, Parry Sound. Form the North, take highway 400 and then highway 69 through the sound to Highway 64 at Alban. The Resort is just 12 scenic miles north of the French River. If you are driving from the South, Head to Sudbury which is along highway 69 and then take a left onto highway 64 at Alban. Their location is fairly easy to get to by vehicle.

Fishing with Owl's Nest Lodge

Lake Trout is home to big Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye, Fat Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and a host of Pan fish. You can buy bait at the lodge. If you have your own boat you may bring it as they have their own boat launch. Boats are also available for rent, plus gas and oil. You can reserve a 14' Legend boat with padded seats or one of their 18' or 20' pontoons. This is a bring your own gear lodge and come prepared to fish a variety of habitats. If you are vying for the big Northern Pike, steel leaders are a must.

Overall, expect a clean and comfortable stay in a place that welcomes kids and adults. The fishing here is good and you have ample opportunity to target Trophy Fish.

Lodging with Owl's Nest Lodge

The lodge is a serioes of seven housekeeping cabins which sit along the southern shore of Trout Lake. The cabins vary in size from one bedroom to three bedrooms. For entertainment there is satellite TV Wi-Fi, screened in porches and outdoor BBQ, Fire Pit, and Picnic Tables.

For fun, the resort has a diving board attached to one of the docks and a pair of swim rafts as well as paddle boats and canoes.

Expect rustic cabins of knotty pine bunk beds with larger beds and a kitchen that has everything you need to make a meals. The cabins are clean and comfortable.
