Pine Cliff Lodge is a remote fishing lodge located a few hours drive northeast of Thunder Bay. Situated on Sandybeach Lake which is over 10,000 acres large yet never sees more than 12 boats at a time, which means low fishing pressure that can easily turn into a full stringer on the side of your boat.
Landing a Monster on SandyBeach Lake
Trophy fish of all species including walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, whitefish, and lake trout have all been recorded on this lake in recent years and the emphasis on catching and releasing bigger fish has provided much more consistent catches in the smaller “eating size†range. Pine Cliff Lodge is also the first lodge to provide their patrons a center console boat included with each fishing package.
These camp owners know their lake and can provide you with great tips and strategies to put the right lure or bait on your line to grab the fish you’ve come for and some of these nuggets of fishing gold are available on their website as well.
