The Silver Birch Resort & Outfitters is just 35 km's North of Sprague and just off of highway 308 in the southern portion of Manitoba. This is Moose Lake and offers outstanding lakefront cabins, fishing, and even hunting. The lodge is easy to get to by car and the roads are paved.

Fishing with the Silver Birch Resort & Outfitters

Moose Lake is home to big Walleye, plenty of Perch, and Big Northern Pike. If you boat into Buffalo Bay you can also take a serious stab at fishing for trophy Pike and big Muskie.

The lodge has a small store and you can buy both resident and non-resident fishing licenses there as well as frozen bait and tackle.

Overall, this is a cool place to vacation and fish. Expect comfortable cabins - some with TVs for Videos only - and space for parties of all sizes. Expect plenty of opportunities to target a variety of fish - including big Muskie and Big Northern Pike. Right off the lodge is an excellent spot for Walleye and Perch.

Lodging with Silver Birch Resort & Outfitters

The lodge is a series of cabins that are one, two, or three bedroom units. Expect fully modern accommodations that are complete with AC, full kitchen, and running water - hot and cold - with indoor bathrooms and showers. The lodge asks that you bring your own towels and they will supply the linens.

Each cabin has its own picnic tables and outdoor fire pit so that you can enjoy the great outdoors too.
