Skyline Lodge is just about a four-hour drive from International Falls, Minnesota. The lodge sits north of Vermilion Falls and just off of Highway 105. The lodge sits on the shores of Florence Lake, which is next to Perrault Lake.

Guests stay in one of the seven modern housekeeping cabins. Cabins offer three piece bathrooms, full kitchen and linens and bedding. There is a separate dining area and living room. The main lodge is where people gather and socialize. There is a dining room, pool table, and sitting areas that offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Fishing with Skyline Lodge

Florence Lake is an underutilized Lake and for fishermen, that is a good thing. Many people fish on Perrault Lake and ignore the smaller Florence Lake. That means the fishing on Florence Lake is good.

Florence Lake offers Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Perch. Guests fish from 16' boats that features swivel seats, landing net, and buckets for minnows. There is plenty of live bait, and the lodge has freezer space for your catch.

If you are looking for a quiet lodge with good fishing, then Skyline Lodge makes a great choice. The fishing is good, and the Lake offers enough challenge to keep fishing enjoyable. There are opportunities for trophy fish such as Northern Pike or Walleye.

Overall, expect a quality stay along the shores of a quality lake. If you are ready to fish, this is a good spot.
