Each cabin comes with linens, towels, and pillows. Hot breakfast is part of the morning routine though guests are on their own for dinner. Guests have access to the lodge's kitchen or are free to use one of the outdoor BBQ's. The lodge has three outdoor outhouses and a central shower house that is both clean and equipped with hot water. Beds range per cabin from singles to doubles. Expect a clean, comfortable cabin with filtered lake water, propane heat, and power from a generator. There is a full-size refrigerator in each cabin.

Fishing with the Tang of the North Lodge

Guests have access to eight lakes all of which are interconnected. There is an additional fishing option with five portage lakes with boats. The portage lakes are seldom fished and that means large populations of big fish. They are easily accessible via a short walk and offer outstanding fishing. The main lakes are primarily where anglers head. The water structures offer excellent fishing with opportunity for trophy sized Northern pike in the 48 inch plus range. Lawrence Lake also has a good population of huge Lunkers. If you like to fish for Lake Trout think in the 32-inch range here. The Walleye fishing here is hot. Good sized Walleye in the 29 plus inch range are available with plenty of smaller Walleye for eating too.

Overall, expect outstanding fishing opportunities for trophy sized fish, especially Northern Pike and Lake Trout. While the lodge is a bit rustic, it offers outstanding service and a prime location. Most people come to fish so the central shower building and outhouses are not an issue when you are battling a 48 inch Northern Pike or a 32 inch Lake Trout. The lodge offers clean and comfortable accommodations.
