Trout Camp is a Northeastern Saskatchewan fishing lodge that sits along the shores of Reindeer Lake and some 150 miles north of LaRonge, Saskatchewan. This is a haven for fishermen with access to big Northern Pike, Walleye, Arctic Grayling, and Lake Trout. The lodge makes it easy to get there. They will pick up at the La Ronge for a fee or you can drive to Southend, SK and the lodge will pick you up by boat and transport you to the lodge.

Lodging with Trout Camp

Guests stay in one of the natural log cabins that are each outfitted with modern features like Wi-Fi. There is daily maid service with the American Plan and meals are also included. If you opt for the housekeeping plan then your cabin is fully equipped with an awesome kitchen with all the goodies, bedding, an indoor stove and outdoor grill. You get to cook your own meals, but there is a beautiful shore lunch prepared by your guide. Expect well equipped cabins that are comfortable and warm in winter, cool in summer.

Fishing with the Trout Camp

Fishermen fish two to a boat and each boat has a single native guide. The guides make your fishing experience the best it can be and being native, they understand the local waters. When you want to experience the best that Reindeer Lake has to offer, they make it happen. The fishing is typically from Alumarine boats and the water is stained making the morning a perfect time for Walleye fishing and the afternoons a beautiful time to target those monster Northern Pike. This is a perfect location for fly fishing and both the Walleye and the Northern Pike will hit flies. There is also big Lake Trout and in certain spots the Arctic Grayling are a joy.

Overall, expect plenty of opportunities to target big trophy fish and plenty of fishing to be had all day long.
