Wapus Lodge

The lodge is a beautiful complex with 13 housekeeping cabins, a grocery store, and even a heated swimming pool. The main lodge has a dining room and office and is the location where you will meet your guides. The focus here is on providing service to the guests and making sure that your stay is perfect.

The cabins all have 24-hour electricity, indoor plumbing and bathrooms with a shower, a living and dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. Many offer bunk beds in conjunction with a double bed and separate bedrooms.

Expect clean and comfortable cabins that offer basic amenities.

There are plenty of big Trophy fish here, especially if you target the big Northern Pike. The lodge has access to many lakes and one of the best for Northern Pike is Sloe Lake and is a perfect location for Walleye and Northern Pike Fishing. If you are solely after the big Northern Pike, then consider Ceizur Lake which is well-known to produce Trophy Fish.

McLennan Lake is a prime target if you are interested in big Lake Trout. You can access McLennan Lake by boat, and this is also a good lake for Walleye and Northern Pike. Speckled Trout are a delight and you can find them in Montgomery Lake, Benson Lake, and Degaule Lake. Many of these lakes also have cabins, but there is also a fair number of lakes that do not. You can access many of the portage lakes via ATV. If you have your own, you may bring it, but the lodge does not permit you to ride the ATV's around the property.
