Guest Housing and Amenities

Each cottage offers two bedrooms with the exception of one, which offers five bedrooms. There are also a few one-bedroom apartment like units . Some cottages offer screened porches, and others have wooden decks. The cottages sit lake-side and offer outstanding views of the water. Each unit has a full kitchen and everything you'd need to make a meal. The cottages offer both a dining area and a sitting area. Amenities include hot and cold running water and electricity. There is a four-piece bath in each unit. The lodge provides linens, towels, soap, and bath tissue. Wireless Internet is available. Additional items include an outdoor grill, picnic table, and chairs.

This is a family-friendly lodge and there is a lot for kids to do. Some of the most popular activities include cliff diving and plenty of swimming locations.

Fishing with The West Arm Lodge

The fishing here is outstanding. If you love trophy-sized fish, then you will love the weedy shoreline where large Northern Pike and Muskie lurk. Other species of fish include Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Perch. The lodge supplies everything that you'd need for a fishing adventure, but guests are welcome to bring their own gear. They provide maps of the lakes and guests enjoy the use of 16-foot Mirror Craft boats with 15 HP motors. There is also a lunch site so guests can bring their own boat.

There are plenty of opportunities for fly fishing here. Smallmouth and Largemouth bass will readily take after a fly. The most amazing fish to catch here on a fly is the Northern Pike. A little jig with a dry mouse pattern over a weedy patch is magic. You might even get the mighty Muskie to strike a fly. If that should happen, Just hold on tight cause things are about to get busy and crazy all at once.
